ibis Styles Carcassonne La Cité has been recommended to us by a cyclist who stayed here. He said it was close to the old fortress and city centre (600m), super clean and with friendly staff. There is a safe place to park bicycles, plus a pool and a great breakfast. The rooms and studios are all air-conditioned. This is a mid-range option and it has a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness room and free private parking if you're arriving by car. Free wifi. Breakfast is in the dining room, which has views of the swimming pool and the city's rooftops. Tea and coffee are available all day in a communal area.
