Le Grand Hard is a super bike-friendly hotel in the Le Parc des Marais nature reserve close to Utah Beach, making it an ideal place to stay while exploring the D-Day landing beaches. Bike hire available at the hotel (including Garmins with pre-loaded maps). The hotel regularly welcomes cycle tour groups so the staff are used to hosting cyclists in groups or as individuals. On-site restaurant and bar, plus cafe. 11 double rooms (including 4 luxury suites), plus self-contained residences available for small groups or families (there is also a children's playground). Free wifi. French, English, Dutch and a little German spoken.
