Explore beautiful Haute-Vienne on a week-long cycle camping trip

Camping Le Peux owners Karen and Tom, together with their friend and local cyclist Richard, are putting together this guided cycling week for the first time in 2026 at their peaceful campsite in the village of Jouac, 70km north of Limoges and 90km south-east of Poitiers. Discover some favourite local routes and explore the beautiful and quiet backroads in this part of the Haute-Vienne – one of the most picturesque but least explored cycling areas in France. The routes are all mapped out on Strava and take in local points of interest. It’s fully guided, and also supported by a backup van. This is a safe and fun group cycling week that covers, on average, around 70km a day (with some elevation). It's a great option for regular road riders or touring cyclists and campers looking for a week of fixed base rides through beautiful countryside with like-minded cyclists. After a day of cycling, unwind with a social gathering and a delicious meal. Share stories from the day's adventure and make new friends in the beautiful setting of Camping Le Peux. The price includes all breakfasts and picnic lunches, plus 2 evening meals.
