Take in the vineyards south-west of regional capital Beaune, including a stop at a local chateau, with the winemaker himself opening his doors just for you. This is a great chance to try local wines and learn more about viticulture in Burgundy (and, yes, you can have any bottles you buy sent to your hotel or shipped home). This is an easy circular route between St Romain and Pommard via Volnay, Meursault, and Puligny Montrachet, with a minivan transfer from Beaune. It's suitable for all abilities, including kids.
