Enjoy a gentle guided bike ride through Burgundy's beautiful vineyards with Florian and his team of local cycling experts. Take in the vineyards south-west of regional capital Beaune, including a stop at a local chateau, with the winemaker himself opening his doors just for you. This is a great chance to try local wines and learn more about viticulture in Burgundy (and, yes, you can have any bottles you buy sent to your hotel or shipped home). This is an easy circular route between St Romain and Pommard via Volnay, Meursault, and Puligny Montrachet, with minivan transfer from Beaune. It's suitable for all abilities, including kids. On this bike ride you will explore some of the most prestigious Burgundian vineyards such as Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune. You start your bike trip in Dijon, 'the city with the hundred bell towers', and ride towards Nuits-Saint-Georges on small country roads. The itinerary returns via Cluny on the green route along the Côte Chalonnaise vineyards to Chalon-sur-Saône. It takes in local gastronomy, vineyards and culture.
