Normandy is a region of river and coastal routes and hillier inland terrain. It's one of Freewheeling France's favourite places to ride.
Full overview of cycling in Normandy
This page is a work in progress – I'm trying to add more routes when I can (espeically as Normandy is such a popular region for cyclists coming over to France by ferry).
From the coast roads from Mont-St-Michel and Granville to the D-Day Beaches and the northern ferry ports of Caen and Cherbourg, Normandy offers a range of landscapes and attractions to fill months (not days) of riding.
On this page I'm combining all individual Normandy routes from my bike routes section. Hopefully it'll give you a big-picture view of how the routes connect and link up.
The routes are for guidance only and are provided in good faith – please cross-check against your own research. Sources include other cyclists, cycling clubs, bike-friendly accommodation providers and tourist information centres.
