The Tour de France Femmes 2025 marks the fourth edition of the French stage race for women.
For the first time, the race will be run over nine stages and cover a total distance of 1165km.
It starts on the west coast of France in Vannes and crosses the guts of the country roughly west to east until it gets to Chatel Les Portes du Soleil, just to the north-east of Morzine.
There will be two stages in the high mountains and some 17,240m of vertical gain over the nine stages.
For the first time, there will also be an Etape du Tour for women – L'Etape du Tour de France Femmes, which will run as a sportive on closed roads on August 2 and run between Chambéry and the Col de la Madeleine at Saint-François-Longchamp, which is also stage 8 of the official route.

Stage 3: July 28 - La Gacilly to Angers, 162km
Stage 4: July 29 - Saumur to Poitiers, 128km
Stage 5: July 30 - Chasseneuil-du-Poitou (Futuroscope) to Guéret, 166 km
Stage 6: July 31 - Clermont Ferrand to Ambert, 124 km
Stage 7: August 1 - Bourg en Bresse to Chambery, 160km
Stage 8: August 2 - Chambery to Saint François Longchamp for the Col de la Madeleine, 112 km
Stage 9: August 3 - Praz-sur-Arly to Chatel Les Portes du Soleil, 124km
