Camping des Pins is a 4-star ideally located between at Soulac sur Mer. Pitched for tents and campingn cars + mobile homes and wood cabins for self-caterers. Ideal for the vineyards of the Medoc, it's just across the Gironde Estruary (connected by ferry from Royan). It's 1.5km from the beach and also has a heated outdoor pool. Kids' club, restaurant. Set amid a pine forest that shelters it from the waves and wind of the Atlantic Coast, where surfboards mix with sand castles on the long, sandy beach. The famous chateaux of Margaux and Lafite Rotschild are also within reach. Part of a network of independently owned campsites in France.
