Small and traditional French hotel/B&B with just 4 rooms. It's located roughly midway between Bordeaux and Bergerac and well-placed for rides into the Saint-Emilion vineyards. Great stop on the Lawrence Arabia bike route, which starts in nearby Castillon-la-Bataille. Relais de la Renaissance is a welcoming place for cyclists and is Accueil Velo-rated through the local tourist board. This promises a real 'local' stay in the heart of rural France – and among some very special backroads routes.
