Here's some basic info on road closures along the 222km stage 15 on July 20 from Tallard to Nimes (see here for our article on cycling in Nimes).

The stage goes through the heart of Provence and Languedoc cycling country – this will be another popular stage to watch, with lots of varied terrain and super vantage points.

The full time schedule is here with caravan departure times etc. The caravan leaves Tallard at 10.05; the stage itself starts at 12.05pm.

The route itself can close to cars anything up to 2 hours before the caravan, though it is usually possible to walk/cycle the route later.

In summary:
The area around the departure point on the RD46 will be close from 9am to 1.30pm.  
* The RD942 will be closed from 5am until 4.30pm from the the N85 to the crossoads of the D942/D46; also closed 9am to 1.30pm from the Avenue Auguste Durand to Route de la Digue.
* The section of the RD346 towards the departmental border will be closed between 9am and 1.30pm. 
* The RD942 will be closed from 5am to 4.30pm between the N85 and the D942/D46 at Avenue Auguste Durand.
* The RD4 will close from 8.30am to 2pm

When the race enters the Languedoc-Roussillon, there is road closure information here in French.

Road closures and parking restrictions will take effect from the night before. The immediate area around the route will be closed to cars from 1pm to 8pm. Riders are expected just after 5pm.

Free shuttle buses will operate every 20 minutes around the city from the train station between 9am and 3pm and then from 8pm to 11pm.
