If you're in the UK, then the ever-popular London Bike Show, February 12-15 at ExCeL, is the only place to be.
As bike shows go, this one is about as big as it gets – and it's easy to see why. The London Bike Show – taking place at ExCeL London from February 12-15 – is billed as the UK's largest bicycle exhbition, with bikes, kit and accessories for every type of riding, be it road biking, MTB (see here for inspiration), commuting, or weekend leisure or family cycling.
Top brands including Cannondale, Boardman, Scott, Giant, Colnago, Vulpine, Canyon, Hoy Bikes, Mavic, Raleigh, Santa Cruz and Schwalbe will be showing (and selling) their wares at the show, while there will be a TriUK fitting area to ensure you buy the bike that's right for you. Before you hand over your credit card, though, head to the test track to ride a range of road and commuter bikes, plus the lastest electrics (there will also be a kids' track).
Other stands will feature clothing, accessories, cycling holidays, and training advice – see here for a full list of exhibitors.
High-profile support comes British Olympian Sir Chris Hoy (pictured above at last year's show), who has lent his image to the show's branding, and Team Wiggle Honda Manager Rochelle Gilmore. You can see the celebrity and guest speaker line-up here.
If you're looking to improve your performance on the bike, there will be a training hub to measure your fitness and deliver you your very own personalised training programme (book for this as demand is expected to be high).
Other highlights include a bike training and safety area, a street velodrome and an 'innovation lab' with the hot new products from bikes to mobile apps and the latest safety equipment and clothing.
Tickets are priced from £5-£30 and include entry to triathlon, dive, and outdoor adventure shows that are running concurrently.
