The latest in a series of photo blogs about bike facilities at cycling hotels, B&Bs and gites in France. This from Rob at Cycle Corsavy.
Since I posted this picture of the bike workshop at Chalet Ribot in the Alps and this page from Margriet over in the Auvergne, I've received a regular trickle of photos from other owners (most of them cyclists themselves) on our bike-friendly accommodation list.
Rob at Cycle Corsavy is the latest to send me a pic, this one of his rather atmospheric looking bike storage area, which is accessed directly from the house.
And, yes, those are bodyboards in the corner – Rob's one of those lucky people to have good cycling on his doorstep (see here to whet your appetite) and the waters of the Mediterranean just 50km to the east.
If you're looking for a cycling base that's a little off the beaten track, but still good for stretching the legs and seeing a unique part of France, then you could do worse than head to the Pyrénées-Orientales in Languedoc.
Rob, being a bike junkie, will be able to offer you lots of local advice and info, and help with route maps and planning. Bonne route!
