Hi there,
Me and two mates are looking into options for this summer and want to cycle in France.
My friend has his eye on Burgundy. If the three of us show up in Burgundy, what would it cost and what would be the logistics to getting bicycles with saddles/necessities? Assume day one is July 1 and we ride until the 14th.
Any information on rates and suggested routes (ending spot with an airport)?
One of us likely can only do up until 14th at latest, whereas the other two maybe could extend a few days.
Appreciate any help on this. We want to minimise fees, so are not opting for guided tours or tour packages – just the bikes and a sense of direction really.
Thanks,
Kyle.

Hi Kyle
If it's just local advice and bike hire you need you can book online at Bourgogne Evasion.
For cycling accommodation in Burgundy, see this this page or the map below:
For a general overview of cycling in Burgundy, see here.
Here is another great route suggestion. Burgundy also has a good luggage transfer service for independent riders – details here.
See also the Burgundy by Bike website.
I hope that helps.
Cheers
Lyn.
PS I usually post reader questions on the blog as reader Q&As in case they can help others (and to save me answering the same questions twice). I hope this is OK. I never include full names or any contact info.
