Question:

We are renting a chalet for two weeks in the Saint-Emilion area. We want to rent bikes for the entire two-week period and do day trips from the chalet at our leisure. We fly into Toulouse and have rented a van, so we will be able to transport bikes during our stay. We hope to pick them up in Toulouse and carry on to our chalet, and drop them off  back in Toulouse. Or, perhaps renting them in Bordeaux is a possibility?

Thank you in advance for your assistance. I hope you can help us.

Sincerely,

Laurie.

Answer:

Hi Laurie,

We have had other recent enquiries about bike hire in Toulouse and Bordeaux.

For Toulouse, see here.
For Bordeaux, see here. See also our Aquitaine bike hire listings as there are a few bike delivery services that operate in the Gironde and Dordogne regions (St-Emilion is in Gironde, but it is very close to the Dordogne border).

The Saint Emilion Tourist Office can a lso help with bike hire and can also arrange guided rides.

I hope that helps. I'd be interested to hear how you get on and what you decide.

Cheers

Lyn.
