This is a family ride for all abilities starting and ending in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, seaside town on the Atlantic Coast in the Vendée department of western France. It's based around quiet backroads and dedicated cycling trails.
The route passes through forests, as well as the Marais Doux de Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez – a beautiful area of local waterways and salt marshes that covers some 2500 hectares.
The ride is suitable for touring bikes or road bikes with robust tyres, as well as mountain bikes.
