Bike routes in Burgundy

The Bourgogne à Vélo network is made up of a range of bikes routes that make the region one of France's best for biking.

Cycling in Burgundy presents lots of exciting options for leisure cyclists, from canal and river routes to vineyard meanders. Best of all, they are suited to all abilities (though experienced mountain biekres might want to check out the 330km Grande Traversée du Morvan à VTT.

I've included the main (and most famous) leisure routes here, and I'll keep add more local circuits as and when time permits.

The Burgundy network links in to the end of the Loire Valley bike route, which continues on as part of the EuroVelo 6 Black Sea route.
