Calling club riders, cycling groups, couples, singles, men, women, young, old, semi pros and weekend potterers – you're all welcome. 
Apparently 'anyone' can climb Ventoux with a bit of training. I'm putting this theory to the test May 24-27. And you're all invited, safe in the knowledge that there's no conceivable way you'll be slower than me. We've organised this group rides weekend in partnership with Gerry and John at 44-5 Cyclng Tours, local Ventoux specialists. It's a fully supported weekend: three nights' accommodation with breakfasts, a warmup ride on the Friday to size up the Giant on the horizon, and then a Ventoux climb from Bedoin on the Saturday. There's also a welcome meal on the Thursday. Single rooms, airport/station transfers and bike hire all available for a surcharge. Just bring your climbing legs**.

After a 10-year absence from the racing calendar, 2018 marks the comeback of Grand Prix to French soil. This tour allows you to enjoy Provence as you ride towards the Paul Ricard circuit to enjoy the race at the culmination of the ride. This is a really unusual tour and offers the chance to explore a beautiful stretch of the Med coast taking in the Massif des Maures, passing the Esterel and the French Riviera en route to Monaco. The cycling is generally moderate, allowing you time to explore villages, experience the Riviera lifestyle or choose lesser known trails. There's a 7-day and a 5-day package: the 7-day tour includes Provence's Massif des Maures and its coastline and gives you the option of a non-cycling day to add some relaxation to the tour; the 5-day tour starts with the Sainte Maxime to Cannes stage of the longer trip. Starting in Nice, head inland and upward towards the mighty Col de la Bonette. After scaling all 2860m of it, it's on to and over the border into Italy via the Col de Maddalena (1991m) and then back into France via the Lombarde (2350m). 
On the way, tackle one or two other cols such as Castillon (707m), Turini (1607m), St Martin (1500m), and Couillole (1678m). 
End the week with a ride around the gorges of the Verdon
. That's a total of around 600km with 13,021m of climbing. This is a fully supported, guided ride, with a support car never far away carrying your luggage, spares, snacks, and hot and cold drinks. Price includes half-board accommodation and transfers.
