There are 6 spacious and fully equipped self-catering apartments with balconies and stunning views (the River Ourse runs just outside). Mauléon-Barousse is a regular on the Tour de France route (including in 2017) – the start of the legendary Port de Bales climb is just 100 metres away from the hotel's door. It's a 19.2km ascent up to 1755 metres – a tough climb typical of the area, with twisting rough roads and a constantly changing gradient. You can start the Col de Peyresourde via the descent. Aparthotel Barousse is an ideal base. All apartments have fully equipped kitchens for self-caters, plus a TV and DVD player (watch the Tour on TV as it approaches the door!)
