If you are cycling the Meuse Valley bike route, or touring the battlefields and visiting at the memorial at war Verdun, Les Jardins du Mess is a bike-friendly option right on the river bank. With really nice bathrooms and tastefully decorated rooms, it makes for a nice treat. Four star-rated, it has a piano bar and lounge, plus a restaurant dining terrace tht overlooks the river. There is also a sauna and jacuzzi, so pack your swimsuit! The hotel can help arrange bike hire if you're not arriving with your own wheels.
