Cycle the Lavender Route in Provence: Between Baronnies, Ventoux and Luberon

This self-guided Lavender Route tour allows you to discover the beauty of the landscapes between the Baronnies of Provence, Ventoux and Luberon in Provence. This cycling trip celebrates its scent, its essential oil, its soaps, cosmetics and perfumes. There are 150 species of lavender and two are cultivated in Provence: fine lavender, which grows at 700 metres above sea level in the Sault region, and lavandin, which grows at lower altitudes. It flowers from mid-June to the beginning of August. Cycle among the fields and visit distilleries and museums, as well as pretty villages like Roussillon, Sault, Fontaine de Vaucluse, L’Isle sur la Sorgue and Pernes les Fontaine.
