Enjoy cycling along pretty lanes that wind their way gently through one vineyard after another, stop in colour vibrant historic towns such as Colmar, the ‘Little Venice’ of France. With spectacular scenery wherever you pedal, it’s easy to work up an appetite for the region’s distinctive cuisine - and a thirst for its famous white wines. Fortunately, there are plenty of superb restaurants and rustic wine bars en route, so your cycling effort will be rewarded by the region's sublime gastronomic scene, including Choucroute à l’Alsacienne (sauerkraut and sausages) at Caveau St Pierre. The price of this self-guided tour includes 3*hotel B&B hotel accommodation, bikes with panniers and handlebar bags, detailed route maps and instructions, local support, and flights and transfers from the UK (discount if you're arriving in France on your own).
