Saint-Macaire - Les Feuilles d'Acanthe

This is considered one of the best places to stay around the medieval town of Saint-Macaire. It's part of the Logis hotel group of independently run hotels, and it meets their bike-friendly cycling criteria. If your legs are feeling tired after exploring the rolling vineyards or the Canal de Garonne towpath (which starts just east of Saint-Macaire), then the hot tub could be exactly what you need. There's also a continental breakfast-in-bed option. Rooms have all of the mod cons, there is free wifi in public areas and a restaurant/bar.
