This is a GREAT base for exploring rural SW France by bike. It offers flexible accommodation for small groups and solo riders barely 5km east of the EuroVelo 3 route as it snakes its way between Angouleme and Confolens at the crossroads of the Dordogne/Haute-Vienne/Charente departments. Also within striking distance is La Flow Velo, which passes just to the south. In addition to these two major cross-country routes, there are also cycling routes accessible from the door. Cheryl offers a B&B with space for 4 cyclists, as well as a small self-catered gite that sleeps 2 people (and has a hot tub!) There is also a pool for guest use. It's perfect for an overnight stop or a base for a longer cycling holiday in a beautiful yet relatively under-cycled part of rural France. There's secure bike storage, a workshop area, and bike-washing facilities. Cheryl can also provide optional evening meals for riders, as well as packed lunches and luggage transfers. English and French spoken.
