A wonderful loop around the French Basque country you will start in Biarritz and finish back there some 8 days later after some amazing riding on quiet country roads or cycle paths. Along the way you will visit Bayonne famed for its colourful timbered houses and Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, a beautiful stopover on the route of the Santiago de Compostela. Throughout the trip you will have the chance to enjoy the delicious local products such as the famous Espelette chilli peppers and famous Basque tarts to give you lots of energy! The provided itinerary also takes you to the Atlantic coast on the Velodyssey bike route, passing by the coastal town of Saint-Jean-de-Luz and it's cosy harbour before arriving back in Biarritz.
