Cluny - Hostellerie d'Héloïse
Family hotel on the Chalon-sur-Saône to Mâcon voie verte
The Hostellerie d'Héloïse – on the banks of La Grosne and metres from the Chalon-sur-Saône to Mâcon voie verte – has been a hotel in one format or another since the 1800s. The hotel is part of the Logis hotel group and meets their bike-friendly criteria. The owners, Nathalie and Patrick, have a shed for bicycles and the onsite restaurant serves up plenty of nourishing fuel for riders passing through (there's even a special menu for mini-cyclists). There's also a lounge bar area for relaxing (and for sampling Burgundy's best wines). Doubles, triples and family rooms. English and French spoken.
