Just south of the Charleville Mezières city centre, the Ibis offers a reliable, if predictable, place to stay. Onsite restaurant and lounge, plus outdoor terrace. Free wifi. While bikes cannot be taken into bedrooms, management says they can be locked in lounge areas and reception is staffed 24 hours. Charleville-Mezières is the starting point for the lovely Trans-Ardennes bike path, while the regional national park and Meuse Valley routes are also within easy reach.
