Level of difficulty:
Paris, the City of Light, is at the centre of this guided cycling and sailing holiday. Visit the castle at Fontainebleau and pedal along the winding rivers Seine and Oise. You'll also cycle through the forests at Compiègne, experience an evening canal cruise across 19th century Paris, and see why Van Gogh and Sisley were so inspired by Auvers-sur-Oise and Moret-sur-Loing. Take in all the sights of Paris: the Eiffel Tower, Sacré-Cœur, Arc de Triomphe, Versailles palace and much more. The tour includes a double cabin at hotel barge, full board, bike rental, tour guide, a visit to Fontainebleau, and wine and cheese tastings. Cycling distances are approximately 45km a day. Mixed nationalities, maximum group size of 19 – this is a fun way to meet other travellers and enjoy the pleasures of cycling in France.
