5 to 7 nights
This guided or self-guided tor is set in the little-known department of Corrèze, the green heart of France. Think varied terrain, stunning scenery and virtually traffic-free roads. The week starts with an introductory warm up ride on the Pays de Tulle Plateau – characterised by charming villages, forests and lakes. On the following days you'll visit many beautiful villages such as Aubazine, Argentat and Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, and the spectacular Dordogne gorges. At the end of the week, the tour goes to the Cantal or Auvergne mountains, weather permitting. Average daily distances between 70km to 85km. The price includes stylish B&B accommodation in a converted farm with swimming pool and private lake, 6 restaurant quality four-course dinners with wine, afternoon tea and cakes, secure bike storage and workshop, emergency vehicle backup and road bike hire if needed.
All accommodation has been checked to ensure it meets our cycle-friendly criteria. We also deal with tour operators personally before adding them to the site. To recommend a great French cycling holiday or a nice bike-friendly place to stay, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
