In Bagnères-de-Bigorre, on the eastern approach to the Tourmalet, Aspin, Hourquette, Peyresourde and other classic Tour de France summits, you'll find the super bike-friendly, Les Dix Arches. Owners Caroline and Andy have kitted the B&B out with everything and anything a cyclist might need: there's a bike workshop, secure storage and washdown facilities, as well as spares and energy gels for sale; clothes washing service available for longer stays, there are local bike hire discounts for guests, plus free wifi and optional evening meals. Caroline and Andy know this area intimately and are on hand to offer advice on both road and mountain bike routes.
