Situated in the town of Ax-les-Thermes Le Chalet is a good hotel option with clean rooms, a friendly welcome and super restaurant to ensure that you are properly refuelled after a day on the road. The hotel also has its own spa and comes recommended as cycle friendly, with secure space for bikes (it's used by local cycle tour companies). It would make a good base if you are in the area for climbing the Ax-3-Domaines or Plateau de Beille, or watching the Tour de France which regularly pass through. Free wifi.
