This self-guided road cycling holiday includes everything you need to make the most of the Ventoux area. Arrive into Avignon for the short transfer to Mazon for an afternoon ride and some wine-tasting. The next day tackle Ventoux via the Tour de France route from Bedoin, descending via Sault into the Gorges de la Nesque. This is one of France's 'classic' days on the bike. The next day is slightly more relaxing with a ride from the Comtat Venaissin through the National Natural Park of the Luberon. You'll have great views of Ventoux before riding part of the 2016 Tour de France 2016 in the reverse direction. Day 4 takes in some of the prettiest villages in the Luberon, including Roussillon, Menerbes, and Lacoste. Each day is self-guided rides with itineraries tailored for you and preloaded onto a GPS. This isn't a beginners' holiday so electric bikes are available if you need a little boost so you can join your fitter partner or friends. Price includes transfers on arrival and departure, two nights' B&B at Le Château de Mazan, a stunning 4-star hotel with its own Michelin-starred restaurant, plus a night at Les Balcons du Luberon, a loally owned B&B with stunning views in Gordes. Luggage transfers, carbon road bike rental, and 24/7 emergency assistance all included.
