Completely separate from the villa, the cottage is private, peaceful and perfect for two. The cottage is ideal for exploring chateaux, prehistoric caves, hilltop villages and vineyards. French doors open onto your private stone terrace for al fresco dining, while a woodburning fireplace will keep you cosy in cooler months. Bike hire is available locally. If you don’t have a car, just catch a train from Bordeaux or Bergerac to Le Buisson-de-Cadouin or Siorac-en-Perigord and take a short taxi ride (or bike ride) to Monpazier. Bike hire can be arranged locally if you don't have your own wheels. Lots of local services, including boulangeries, pharmacy, ATM, a market on Thursday, plus supermarkets. There’s also a great Saturday market at Villereal – just a bike ride away. Free wifi. French and English spoken.
