From his base at the foothills of the Pyrenees, local cyclist Martyn runs guided and self-guided rides in the Aude, one of the Languedoc's cycling delights, as well as rides into the Pyrenees themselves. From his door, there are wonderful roads out into the countryside, with routes for all abilities. Take a gentle family ride or head off into the hills to challenge yourself against the cols of the Tour de France. Martyn can help tailor your stay to your ability, and provide local maps and route notes. Rides are available guided or unguided, with flat-rate nightly rates offered to keep things simple.

Make the most of your UK Bank Holiday Weekend with three days of superb Alpine riding around Morzine. This package includes Velovation's favourite local rides plus some hidden back roads routes (think stunning scenery, classic Tour de France climbs, velvet descents, medieval towns and great food and accommodation). Arrive on August 25 for three days of fully supported riding. There's no need to take any time off work as the guys will return you to the airport for an evening flight on Monday the 28th – in time for work on Tuesday. The weekend is based in a specialist bike chalet with large secure bike garage, tools and work stands. There's also a large garden and hot tub for relaxing in after your day's ride.
