Cycling holidays in AlsaceDiscover the vineyards of Alsace on this leisurely short break from Strasbourg to Colmar. The route starts out following the towpaths of the Bruche Canal before heading off on to quiet country roads with little traffic. The wine trail itself starts near Molsheim, and takes you through Rosheim, Andlau Itterswiller, Châtenois and Bergheim en route to the medieval castle of Haut-Koenigsbourg (the most visited monument in Alsace). From here you'll visit hilltop villages dotted along the route to beautiful Colmar, where you'll find no shortage of celebratory Alsatian wine and bretzels (local pastries).
