The Voie Verte de la Vallée de la Marne (Marne Valley Greenway) starts in Damery, 30km(ish) of Reims, and continues on to Condé-sur-Marne via Épernay. It's a car-free route that follows the lateral canal of Marne. The route is well sign-posted and has many picnic spots to allow you to stop and enjoy peaceful water-side views and bird song.
