Baggage transfer services for cycling in Provence

A bespoke service for baggage transfers for your cycling holiday in Provence, making one-way and luggage-free rides easier.

Pont du Gard, Provence

For Provence and the eastern fringes of the Occitaine region (previously known as Languedoc), I now offer a bespoke service where I can match you to a local luggage transfer company to help move your bags from hotel to hotel. The service covers the following areas (basically a circle taking in these towns):

  • Montpellier
  • Uzes
  • Pont du Gard (pictured)
  • Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux
  • Grignan
  • Bedoin
  • Gordes
  • Saint-Rémy-de-Provence
  • Arles
  • Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer (and the Camargue)

The price varies depending on the distance, but it's around the €50 mark for upto 6 people.

The service covers day-to-day baggage transfers for point-to-point riders, as well as transport to return a hire bike, or for a one luggage drop to the end of your route.

Email me at lyn@freewheelingfrance.com for this service.

Another option is to ask your hotel or B&B, as many owners will be able to recommend a local taxi operator, or provide the service themselves for a fee (prices vary and can be pricey if using taxis). Note that accommodation providers who are members of the accueil velo scheme are obligated to help arrange baggage transfer.
